Description

A sturdy plastic bucket trap made up of five components:

  • Lid
  • Lure basket (cage)
  • Trap funnel
  • Trap base (bucket)
  • Wire hanger

This trap is ideal for use with pheromone lures to monitor pests such as Heliothis (Helicoverpa spp.) and fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda).

Bio-Trap DDVP (Dichlorvos) cubes can be used with the bucket trap to provide quick and effective knockdown of insects as they enter the trap. These DDVP cubes are sold separately.

We recommended the use of DDVP cubes when monitoring fall armyworm. It is important to identify fall armyworm moths in the trap and a quick kill helps keep moths intact for identification.
